This workshop introduces the use of sdtm.oak for SDTM programming in R. The focus is the connection between clinical programming workflows and the standardized structure of the Study Data Tabulation Model. Participants are introduced to an R package centered on this area of clinical data preparation and consider how package-based programming fits into the production of standardized study datasets. The session is relevant to clinical programmers interested in extending their R toolkit for CDISC-oriented work. It provides a starting point for understanding the role of sdtm.oak within an R-based approach to SDTM programming and standardized clinical data processing.
