The SSM Foundation programme is an SSM-wide training programme designed to help banking supervisors build a common foundational level of technical knowledge and skills on core and emerging supervisory topics. Acting as catalyst for an inclusive SSM common culture, it focuses on fostering a sense of institutional belonging and on supporting supervisors in delivering on the SSM mandate. The programme has been jointly developed with the Florence School of Banking and Finance of the European University Institute (EUI/FBF), being steered by the Steering Group for Supervision Training (SGST).
