The highest honour that BIOS can bestow and is awarded only where the Board of Trustees is satisfied that the nominee meets the Fellowship threshold. Fellowship recognises individuals whose contribution demonstrates sustained, exceptional and influential service to BIOS and/or the profession of orthoptics over many years, resulting in a lasting impact on the profession, professional practice, education, research, leadership or service development.
