This two-day national-level online session was designed to help faculty members, researchers, and academic institutions strengthen their ability to secure government research funding. Led by Dr. K. R. Murali Mohan, Former Scientist-G and senior advisor to national research missions, the program provided practical guidance on preparing high-quality research proposals, identifying suitable funding programs, and aligning research with India’s priority science and technology goals. Participants gained insights into how funding decisions are made, how proposals are evaluated, and how to improve their chances of approval through better structure, clarity, and national relevance.
