Level Two: Safeguarding in Practice in Higher Education

For CPD purposes, this is a full-day course, delivered online (across two half-day sessions) and involving live participation. The course explores the meaning of safeguarding and its legal and regulatory context, knowing how to spot and respond to potential abuse or neglect, feeling confident in responding to a safeguarding disclosure, and understanding what happens after we report a safeguarding concern. The course is designed for people working in higher education who, by virtue of their role, are more likely to have to respond to a safeguarding concern or disclosure.
