This is a training program aimed at young people to gain a better understanding of impact evaluation. After attending this 1 day training program, the participants will be able to: - describe the concept of Theory of Change and adapt it for their organisation, - formulate specific impact evaluation questions, - differentiate between outputs and outcomes with examples, - understand rules of causation, - recognize the role of counterfactual in theory and applicability in practice through control groups, - list different types of impact evaluation methods, - identify common mistakes made in survey design. Please note that this training is designed for participants with little to no background on impact evaluation, who are looking to deepen their understanding of the topic. Therefore, is considered an Introductory level course.
