This Certificate of Participation recognises attendance at the 2026 OMRON Training Excursion, an industry session for UNSW Engineering students hosted by OMRON Automation and Robotics Australia at its Proof of Concept (PoC) & Technology Centre in Parramatta, Sydney. Through presentations, live demonstrations and small-group hands-on activities, participants saw how automation and robotics are applied in modern manufacturing, including: • Collaborative robotics – TM Series cobot with TMflow software • IT/OT edge solutions – DX1 Edge Controller • Machine vision – AI vision compared with conventional machine vision • Mobile robotics – Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) • Vision and sensing demonstrations Participants also attended an OMRON careers session. The program was hosted by Gareth Lyons, Principal Engineer, and Ryan Manalili, Education Program Manager, with OMRON engineers leading the hands-on training.
