An intensive 5-day artistic residency (6 hours per day), entirely dedicated to Video Mapping techniques — from the initial concept to the final production — led by VJ Eletroiman from Darklight Studio. The residency guides participants through every stage of the video mapping process: technical study, optical principles, projector setup, lux calculation, blueprints, 2D and 3D modeling, and the integration of music and sound effects. During the workshop, participants will learn how to measure and analyze a target surface, build detailed 2D and 3D models, and create audio and video content to be “mapped” onto architecture. By controlling light, color, and the volume of the surface, video mapping alters spatial perception, transforming both the nature of a space and the way it is experienced. A final project will be created and presented to the public during the closing evenings of the program.
