A BIOS Trustee is a volunteer member of the Board who helps oversee the governance, strategy and financial sustainability of the British and Irish Orthoptic Society (BIOS). Trustees work collectively to ensure BIOS fulfils its charitable objectives, acts in the best interests of its members and the wider orthoptic profession, and remains well governed, accountable and financially sustainable. Trustees bring a range of skills, experience and perspectives to support the organisation’s strategic direction and provide appropriate challenge and oversight to the executive team.
