This interdisciplinary workshop explored how artificial intelligence is shaping decision-making across healthcare and public health. Drawing from perspectives in health policy, health services research, public health, ethics, and social justice, the session examined how AI is being used in healthcare data analytics, public health practice, and broader health system decision-making. Participants engaged with real-world examples and case discussions on algorithmic bias, health equity, ethics, cost-effectiveness, and responsible governance, with particular attention to how AI can be evaluated and applied thoughtfully in ways that strengthen care, inform policy, and advance more equitable health outcomes.
