The Energy Transition Africa Fellows Programme is an eleven-week professional fellowship designed to strengthen the analytical and institutional capabilities required to advance Africa's energy transition. The 2026 Founding Class brought together 15 professionals from eight African countries for advanced learning, faculty engagement, applied research and analysis. Fellows examined the institutional, policy, financing, infrastructure and capability challenges shaping Africa's energy transition and developed an original Signature Analysis addressing a specific real-world problem. The Fellowship forms part of Energy Transition Africa's mission to build the human infrastructure required for Africa's energy transition.
